Share Your Examples & Questions

Please use the form to share your examples and questions related to the skills learned through our bias habit-breaking training program.

If you attended the bias habit-breaking training in person and had an example come up during a discussion, but were worried about sharing it in person, this is also a great way to still share it with us.

Please note: The name fields are optional, but the email is required to just help us avoid bot-based submissions and spam. If you’d like to remain anonymous, feel free to leave the name fields blank.

Dr. William T. L. Cox, as seen at a presentation of the bias habit-breaking training.

If you have not yet attended a bias habit-breaking training, but are curious about some of the discussion questions (and maybe want to submit an example based on them), here are a few:

  • Discuss some ways these bias habits may play out in your work or life contexts

  • Can you think of times when you or someone around you may have fallen prey to one of these habits?

  • How might these habits play out with other social groups (e.g., other racial groups, religions)?

These questions relate to some of the tools from the training, including impression justification, norm enforcement, and attentional spotlight.
